Maison BORÉALE | APPAREIL architecture
Design of a Nordic and contemporary house in the heart of the forest with a style and conception rooted in the Quebec culture. Sainte-Adèle / Canada / 2012
Design of a Nordic and contemporary house in the heart of the forest with a style and conception rooted in the Quebec culture. The expansive decks, the veranda, the sloping roof, the use of wood for both the frame and the exterior... were all strongly inspired by vernacular architecture. The house is simple and sleek, giving it a distinctly contemporary touch.
“Rooted in its mountainous and wooded environment, with its shape and materials, my house is in harmony with nature. APPAREIL architecture has understood my needs and tastes, while brining a great deal of creativity to the project. ”
