Maison MÈTRE CUBE | APPAREIL architecture
Space and light optimization at this single family residence. Montreal / Canada / 2015
Space and light optimization at this single family residence. The open area is punctuated by a central cube with many functionalities: bathroom, washing room, pantry and storage. An old wooden facade, discovered during construction, was preserved to add a warm touch to the entrance and along the staircase.
“We are delighted with the improved quality of life that this central cube brings to our main living area. The structure is stylish and practical at the same time. Thanks to APPAREIL architecture, we were able to have a refined Nordic style and a clever and versatile space. We enjoy it every day.” – Dominique & Mathieu, the homeowners
