The decision we have made in the urban implantation as well as in the architectural expression consists in an large quadrangle around an atrium-patio.
The ambivalent need to create a program preserving the confidentiality of the companies and in the same time providing a good façade isolation leads to a sort of a « fortified » architecture which is being quite the opposite of the desired convivial working space.
We have got around this obstacle by proposing an organisation around a partially planted atrium situated on the first floor. Given the good orientation, this space would be at the same time an access, a space to relax and an opening to the reception. A large staircase partially planted links it to the ground floor plan and to the parking. This patio is the reference space of our project.
On the exterior, the façade is covered by a protection and filtering architectural envelope. The sinusoidal stiles forme a sensitive, thick skin that is also a canopy. The gap created in superposition of the sinusoidal timber frame with the vertical stiles of the passageways produces a dynamic watering effect.
The Biopôle consists in two noble levels and a technical terrace based in retreat, organised around the central lanscape atrium.
The interior fitting that we propose is totally fexible and rational. The building is based on a frame of 1m55 of spacing which determines the structure implantation, the façades, the subdivisions, etc... The project owes to be perfectly rational. Allied to the frame, the perfect square plan is controled in an annual disposition. This organisation allows a total flexibility in the interior fitting in the service of the young companies in creation phase.

Le parti que nous avons retenu autant dans l’implantation urbaine que dans l’expression architecturale, consiste en un vaste quadrilatère autour d’une cour intérieure, formant un atrium. Le besoin ambivalent de créer un programme préservant l'activité confidentielle des entreprises et une bonne isolation des façades conduit à produire une architecture « fortifiée », ce qui est peu compatible avec le souhait d’une convivialité propice au travail. Nous avons contourné l’obstacle en proposant d’organiser le programme autour d’un atrium en partie végétalisé situé au R+1. Bien orienté, cet espace est à la fois le lieu d'accès, de détente et d’ouverture du projet sur les espaces d’accueil. Un vaste escalier en partie végétalisé le relie au niveau RDC et au parking. Ce patio est l’espace identitaire de référence du projet. A l'extérieur, la façade est revêtue d’une enceinte architecturale protectrice et filtrante. Des montants sinusoïdaux forment une peau sensible, épaisse et brisesoleil. La superposition de la trame de lames sinusoïdales en décalage avec celle des montants verticaux des coursives fabrique un effet de moirage dynamique.
Le Biopole comprend deux étages nobles et une terrasse technique sur un socle en retrait, organisés autour de l'atrium paysager central. L'aménagement intérieur proposé est totalement flexible et rationnel. Le bâtiment est tramé selon un pas de 1.55m. Cette trame dimensionnelle détermine l'implantation des structures, le dessin des façades, le cloisonnement, etc... Le projet se doit d'être parfaitement rationnel. Cette organisation permet une flexibilité totale de l'aménagement intérieur au service de ces jeunes entreprises en phase de création.
