Public toilet project in center of Plock (a.k.a. The Privy), hidden between the estates just near the main city tract. The Privy is a place, where you can rest after the long walk, drink a little bit of icy lemonade, refresh, and rest in a comfy sunbed.
When designing The Privy, we have been led by two ideas: to inscribe the building in the environment and local character, and to create a modern structure that shall improve the daily life in the neighborhood. Thanks to the first, The Privy is something more than a standard toilet - it is a hub for local meetings and local life, the toilet itself has a secondary role. Thanks to the second one, the building is an example of ecologically sustainable architecture: it uses rainwater to automatically clean under pressure the toilet cabins.
