HP Office | Progetto CMR - Massimo Roj Architects

The new offices of HP in Rome combine smart working modes and innovation with elegance. The design team worked closely with the client to find the most proper way to create a space that well represents HP’s core values while being highly well-organized and flexible. The project aimed at improving the internal circulation and the communication flow among employees, resulting in a visibly enhanced overall efficiency. Different types of workstations to meet different needs and demands: traditional workstations, informal workstations with less or more privacy for temporary uses, reconfigurable meeting rooms of different capacity, phone booths to make calls more privately, without leaving out places for social interactions like cafeterias and catering areas.

Furniture and materials strongly contribute to build an innovative and sophisticated feeling. Contrasting colours like red, light wood brown and grey characterize the lounge area where clients and visitors are welcomed, the core of the HQ: this “institutional” space is thought like a square where different activities happen, the shape of the lamps remind the street lights and modular sofas allow for more flexibility. Two walls with recessed monitors entertain the Clients and show HP communications., who can also check company’s presentations on a demo table.
