With the warmer weather fast approaching, and some long-needed time away from the hustle and bustle of every day work, the summer season is perhaps the best time to finish off some of your home renovation projects – so why not start with the kitchen?

QUARTZ WORKTOPS
When it comes to choosing the right material for your kitchen worktops there are a number of different options. Whilst natural stones such as granite still remain one of the most popular choices for kitchen worktops, the popularity for quartz worktops has become particularly prevalent. Perhaps better known asengineered stone worktops they are renowned for their durability and wide range of beautiful colours. 2016 has also seen colours such as Bianco Drift, Calacatta and Pietra Grey becoming increasingly popular amongst high end kitchen designers for the way in which they can replicate the veining and natural beauty of marble.

WHY QUARTZ WORKTOPS?
As a non-porous stone quartz worktops are highly resistant and stain-proof. They are particularly resistant against a number of household acids and alkaline substances, as well as mould and mildrew, making them particularly ideal for high traffic areas such as the kitchen.

Quartz worktops require minimal maintenance and are easy to clean; simply use warm water and a micro fibre cloth to see your worktops looking as good as new. They are also extremely versatile and hardwearing making them ideal to work with for kitchen worktops, bathroom surfaces, flooring and wall panelling.

As man-made work surfaces, quartz worktops are extremely flexible, making them ideal to work with in modern kitchen designs or bespoke installation projects.
