23ND PORCELANOSA GRUPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

The opening is currently taking place of the 23nd PORCELANOSA Grupo International Exhibition, held from January 25th to 29th 2016 in its Vila-real headquarters (in Castellón, Spain) in the premises of each of its eight companies.

The new concept of a showroom developed for URBATEK (PORCELANOSA Grupo’s specialist in through-body porcelain tiles) is far more than just a display area for its broad range of porcelain tile products. At this edition, the showroom fosters interplay between the materials and the architecture and interior design, offering an insight into some of their multiple possibilities. 

Thanks to this new change, it will be able to highlight all the possibilities, applications and benefits of URBATEK porcelain tiles as flooring and slimline XLight ceramic sheets as coverings on indoor walls or cladding on outdoor façades, demonstrating their potential in commercial, public and residential projects. 

URBATEK CONTRACT

The first section of the showroom will showcase different combinations ofURBATEK wall and floor tiles used in different commercial projects. In each case, specific venues will be recreated where porcelain tiles are always a good guarantee of long-lasting success.

The first setting recreates a transport station, using the CITY collection in its different finishes, followed by a reception area in a combination of colours from the KAOS collection, and the toilets of a sports centre using the MAX collection. 

The harmony and elegance of the DEEP collection are presented against the backdrop of a retail outlet, while the COVER collection is used in trendsetting ‘drugstore’ style to decorate a contemporary-look restaurant. SOUL, a superlative polished porcelain tile collection, is presented in an up-to-date bathroom, and the versatile AVENUE collection is used to create a corner of an outdoor terrace. Lastly, CONCRETE mosaic tiles are combined to bring an air of select distinction to a recreated coffee bar. 

URBATEK LIVING

The second big section is devoted to the home, taking advantage of the latest trends in interior design to recreate an elegant, sophisticated, modern-looking home where black’s forcefulness and white’s purity are united in a series of contrasts in which the very essence of marble, microcement and wood are all reflected.

The façade is clad in large 100x300cm XLight Wild Brown ceramic sheets and contrasting cement-effect XLight CONCRETE Beige sheets, highlighting the sheer size of the volumes as they rise up above the STUC Grey Texture flooring in the entrance hall and outdoor area adjoining the living room.

The main entrance separates the home’s daytime living spaces from its more private ones, with a big skylight in an area where the new modular decorative potential of XLight Wild Brown’s plank-shaped formats is demonstrated as a wall covering also suitable for indoor use.

The new MARBLE Calacatta model is used in combination with CODE Coal, CODE White and CONCRETE Black on the floors of the living room, dining room and kitchen. In this area, the new MARBLE collection’s large 119x119cm format makes a particular impact, together with the cupboard fronts, backsplash and countertop clad in XLight sheets, designed in collaboration with  GAMADECOR, plus the decorative layout of the tiles on the living room walls and the suspended volume of the central fireplace.

The bedroom, dressing room and bathroom are simply dazzling, thanks to the pristine, glossy SOUL Frost flooring, contrasting with the XLight WILD White ceramic sheets on the walls and PREMIUM XLight EMOTION collection in Dark and Snow, conceived to add a sense of unity.  

The covered terrace is paved with tiles from the CONCRETE Beige Timber collection, while the chill-out area features floor tiles from the CONCRETE Grey Timber collection. 

XLight

This area unites PORCELANOSA Grupo’s range of XLight slimline porcelain sheets, demonstrating their characteristics, formats and possible applications through the new “ADAPTING TO SPACE” concept.

Based on the standard height of homes and commercial premises, new modular formats have been developed to tile walls of up to 250 cm in swift, simple style, with all the benefits of slimline XLight porcelain sheets.

Thanks to XLight’s total of 9 low weight, ultra-resistant collections for cladding walls, any façade or indoor wall project can be brought to life with these 3.5mm-thick porcelain sheets, available in a 100x300cm format and smaller sizes cut down from the latter. 

The ceramic sheets range from the most elegant textures of the EMOTION collection – included in PORCELANOSA Grupo’s premium range - to the more industrial looks of the CODE, CONCRETE, NOX and RUST collections, the classic TRAVERTINO collection, the very essence of marble encapsulated in the NVY collection, the innovative, extensive patterns of the WILD collection or the wide spectrum of colours in the BASIC collection.

One special novelty are the different applications that can be given to XLight, showcased throughout the whole of URBATEK’s showroom, such as the ventilated façade, using Butech building solutions, or the bonded façade using TRAVERTINO and RUST Dark.

Special mention must be made of XLight’s use in GAMADECOR kitchen furniture or the false ceiling systems featuring XLight and Butech building solutions.

URBATEK LAB

A ceramic tile library, encompassing all the available tile products, for experimenting and mixing and matching the different materials. A swift way of putting together your imagined setting. 

A neutral-looking area that emphasizes the quality of XLIGHT BASIC Snow, combined with TOWN Cosmos Polished floor tiles.

URBATEK LOUNGE

Shared ingenuity is the key to creating something new, and the new meeting point is an example of the rigorous work of professionals from the worlds of architecture and interior design, combined with the necessary dose of creativity to bring any idea to life.

The XLight WILD White collection has been combined with XLight NOX to create an area where the volumes and low-level lighting emphasize the texture and quality of the tile materials, finished off to exclusive effect with glossy STUC Black Polished floor tiles.

XXIII MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE PORCELANOSA GRUPO

Se inaugura la XXIII Muestra Internacional de PORCELANOSA Grupo que se celebra del 25 a 29 de enero del presente año 2016 en las instalaciones centrales de Vila-real (Castellón, España) en cada una de las sedes de las ocho firmas.    

El nuevo concepto de showroom URBATEK, especialista en porcelánico técnico de PORCELANOSA Grupo, va más allá de mostrar la amplia variedad de productos porcelánicos. En esta edición, el espacio potencia el diálogo de los materiales con la arquitectura y el interiorismo, dando a conocer algunas de las multiples posibilidades.

Un cambio donde se resaltan todas las posibilidades, aplicaciones y ventajas del porcelánico URBATEK para pavimentos y la cerámica extrafina XLight como revestimiento en fachadas e interiores tanto en proyectos comerciales, públicos como residenciales.  

URBATEK CONTRACT

En el primera área se plantean diferentes combinaciones de pavimento y revestimiento URBATEK aplicados a diferentes proyectos comerciales. En cada uno de estos espacios se recrean algunos de los ambientes donde la colocación de porcelánico es siempre garantía de futuro.

En el primero de los espacios se recrea una estación de transporte con la colección CITY utilizando los diferentes acabados, seguidamente una zona de recepción con la combinación de los colores de la colección KAOS y un baño de un centro de deportes con la colección MAX.

La armonía y elegancia de la colección DEEP se presenta en forma de “retail” y la colección COVER siguiendo la tendencia “Drugstore” se utiliza para diseñar un contemporáneo restaurante. La destacada colección de porcelánico pulido SOUL se presenta en un baño actual, y con versátil colección AVENUE se perfila el rincón de una terraza exterior.  Para finalizar esta área, la colección CONCRETTE que combina mosaicos para aportan exclusividad a una zona “Coffee”.

URBATEK LIVING

La segunda área es la gran zona dedicada al hogar que sigue las tendencias en interiorismo para recrear una vivienda contemporánea, elegante y sofisticada donde la fuerza del negro y la pureza del blanco se dan cita en una propuesta de contrastes en el que destaca el alma de los mármoles, el microcemento y las maderas.

La fachada concebida con el gran formato de lámina cerámica XLight Wild Brown en el gran formato 100x300cm  en contraste con el cemento de la colección XLight CONCRETTE Beige en corte que potencia la magnitud de los volúmenes sobre el pavimento STUC Grey Texture en la entrada y la ampliación exterior del salón.

Desde la entrada principal se separa la zona de día de las estancias más íntimas con un amplio lucernario donde destaca la nueva modularidad decorativa en tableteados de XLight Wild Brown como revestimiento también de interiores.   

El pavimento del salón, comedor y cocina con el nuevo MARBLE Calacata en combinación con CODE Coal, CODE White y CONCRETTE Black. Del espacio destaca el gran formato 119x119cm de la nueva colección MARBLE, el mobiliario con recubrimiento XLight de los frontales de armarios, backsplash y encimera diseñado en colaboración con GAMADECOR, el despiece decorativo de las paredes del salón y el volumen suspendido de la chimenea central. 

La habitación, vestidor y baño deslumbran con el reluciente e impoluto pavimento SOUL Frost en contraste con el revestimiento XLight WILD White y la colección PREMIUM XLight EMOTION Dark y Snow para unificar el espacio.  

La terraza cubierta con el pavimento con la colección CONCRETTE Beige Timber y el espacio de descanso con la colección CONCRETTE Grey Timber. 

XLight

Esta área recopila el porcelánico extrafino XLight de PORCELANOSA Grupo mostrando sus características, formatos y opciones de aplicación con la nueva propuesta “ADAPTING TO SPACE”.

Partiendo de la altura estándar de viviendas y espacios comerciales, se establecen los nuevos formatos combinables que permiten el revestimiento de alturas de 250cm de forma sencilla y rápida con todas las ventajas  del porcelánico extrafino XLight.

Un total de 9 colecciones de revestimientos ligeros y ultra resistentes, que permiten hacer realidad cualquier proyecto en fachadas o revestimiento de interiores con el porcelánico en 3.5mm a partir del formato 100x300 cm y los distintos cortes.     

Desde las texturas más elegantes de la colección EMOTION destacada como COLLECCIÓN PREMIUM de PORCELANOSA Grupo, a las líneas más industriales con las colecciones CODE, CONCRETE, NOX y RUST hasta el clásico TRAVERTINO, la esencia del mármol en la colección NVY, la innovadora y extensa gráfica de la colección WILD o la variedad de colores BASIC.

Como novedad se presentan varias aplicaciones se extienden por todo Showroom URBATEK como la fachada ventilada utilizando las soluciones constructivas de Butech o la aplicación como fachada pegada en la propuesta con TRAVERTINO y RUST Dark. 

Destacar, la utilización de XLight como revestimiento del mobiliario de cocina  GAMADECOR, y el sistemas de techo registrable con XLight y las soluciones constructivas Butech. 

URBATEK LAB

Biblioteca de piezas donde se aglutina todo el material disponible a partir del cual experimentar hacer combinaciones de los diferentes materiales y diseñar los espacios en mente con total agilidad.

Un espacio neutro que enfatiza la calidad del XLIGHT BASIC Snow y el pavimento TOWN Cosmos Polished.

URBATEK LOUNGE

Compartir ingenio es la clave para hacer algo nuevo, y la nueva zona de encuentros es el ejemplo de que el riguroso trabajo de los profesionales de la arquitectura e interiorismo junto con la creatividad hace realidad cualquier idea.

La colección XLight WILD White en combinación con XLight NOX para crear un espacio donde los volúmenes y la iluminación rasante destaca la textura y calidad del material. Todo enmarcado en un espacio exclusivo y reluciente con el pavimento STUC Black Polished.
