Located in the heart of the first district of Paris, hotel Crayon Rouge *** is the next chapter of hotel Crayon’s happy stor y, its “big brother” opened three years ago by Parisian hotel experts Christophe Sauvage and Philippe Vaurs – founders of the Elegancia Hotels collection – with their friend and artist Julie Gauthron. For this new colorful and arty experience, they took inspiration from the Exquise Esquisse suite which opened in the first opus. With its joyful and retro-chic decoration in the spirit of a guesthouse, guests will be happy to feel at home once again. Its originality: the Rouge Bar celebrating wine, Philippe Vaurs and Christophe Sauvage’s second love.

Throughout 5 floors and 17 rooms, guests will recognize Julie Gauthron’s style through 7 different ambiances. Wallpapers with flower patterns or animated characters fuse with tangy colors such as apple green, orange, candy pink, turquoise blue or even lemon yellow.Julie Gauthron and Christophe Sauvage poured their bargain-hunting souls again into finding pieces of furniture and objects. A Scandinavian sofa here, a small sewing bedside table there, a 50’s Baumann Traineau chair, a Louis XVI writing desk or industrial closets: ever ything is in the details, which give Hotel Crayon Rouge its unique personality.The bathrooms – a subtle mix of contemporar y furniture made of Krion and bargained Louis Philippe or Venetian mirrors – contribute to this vintage and cozy atmosphere.

Among the 17 rooms, 3 Junior suites embody the flavors of wine through tasty and fruity colors, flowery, wooden and spicy patterns, velvety and delicate textures.

The Rouge Épicée suite
This suite with character will make your head spin. A subtle marriage of wine and passion red designed to intoxicate the senses. Softened light and small historical sewing tables used as bedside tables add charm to the room.

The Tendre Rosée suite
This cozy and powdered boudoir is the hotel’s most glamorous suite. A large open bathroom, decorated with white mosaic tiles and a dressing table with mirrors to allow the most sophisticated ladies to doll up before a night out. The suite also features a small lounge lit by a splendid chandelier from La Petite Friture, as well as a large librar y. With its flower y wallpapers, its bedside tables with mirrors, its hypnotic fuchsia pink and silver headboard, this suite will put stars in the eyes of romance lovers.

The Sans Modération suite
It is the ideal suite for lovers in search of a mesmerizing experience! With its spiral-patterned wallpaper and its round bathtub with bubbles, the bathroom will plunge guests into a swirl of passion.The room itself is an ode to nature with its green and yellow tones, its chest of drawers with butterfly mirrors and cute parakeets perched on the walls.

The Crayon Rouge welcomes its guests in an elegant lounge. The wallpaper sets the tone: hundreds of glasses decorate the walls of this place dedicated to the vine’s nectar! Comfortably seated in lovely Red Edition armchairs and sofas, guests may read one of the librar y’s books or taste wine served at the Rouge Bar. “Forgotten” family photos in black and white convey even more character to this relaxing place.
