The house, a recent building on a hill, is spread over four levels, with large windows overlooking the Lecco branch of Como Lake. The main living spaces of the ground floor have been organized around a compact central core that integrates the stairs, the connections, the doors and the fixed furnishings, all designed and custom-made. The compactness of the central block contrasts with the opening of the living room, study, dining room and kitchen areas, open on each other to form a fluid space and to allow the view of the landscape from every point of the house. If necessary, the kitchen can be closed by two large sliding doors. The main materials are natural Travertine for the floor and oak wood for the doors and fixed furnishings.

L’abitazione, un edificio di recente costruzione, si sviluppa su quattro livelli che si affacciano con grandi finestre sul ramo lecchese del Lago di Como. Gli spazi abitativi più importanti del piano terreno sono stati organizzati intorno ad un nucleo centrale compatto che contiene le scale, i collegamenti, le porte e gli arredi fissi, tutti progettati e realizzati su disegno. La compattezza del blocco centrale si contrappone all’apertura degli ambienti della zona giorno, studio, soggiorno, pranzo e cucina, aperti l’uno sull’altro per rendere più fluido l’abitare e permettere la vista del paesaggio da ogni punto della casa. All’occorrenza la cucina può essere chiusa da due grandi porte scorrevoli. I materiali principali sono il Travertino naturale per il pavimento e il legno di rovere per le porte e gli arredi fissi.
