Art Exhibition "Città e soggetti di affezione" by Croce Taravella | Exhibit design and Setting Up by Stefania Brugnaletti | Stefania Brugnaletti
Royal Palace (Norman Palace), Palermo (Italy) Palermo / Italy / 2009
2009 April 3, the exhibition of the artist Croce Taravella was inaugurated, in the setting of the Duca di Montalto halls, inside the Norman Palace (Parlament Square).
In exhibition are 35 unpublished paintings on canvas, which retrace the cities in which the artist lived: Palermo, Rome, Berlin, Milan, Vienna and Naples. The power of “his cities” is disruptive and seems to want to involve the viewer within this chaos.
Completing the exhibition are sixteen sculptures, placed in the spaces of the Punic Walls, which represent the people dear to him, that is, the "subjects of affection", such as his mother, his daughter, his wife and some friends.
