Hotel Burgund | monovolume architecture + design

The Hotel Burgund is located in Parcines and consists of a main building in traditional style with a gable roof and a modern building with large terraces and flat roof, which was built in 2006.
The project is now planning to adapt the traditional the modern one.
By building a flat roof instead of the gable roof, the space in the attic rooms and the housing quality increases.
It is also built two exclusive suites on the flat roof, where you have a beautiful panorama view over the Vinschgau.
Each room of the old building gets a new balcony. Thus, the old part is adapted to the newer one, built in 2006.
Through this structural measure, the two buildings will be combined into a single unit.

Freitragende Harmonie
Das Hotel Burgund befindet sich in Partschins und besteht aus einem Stammhaus im traditionellen Baustil mit Satteldach und einem modernen Zubau mit großzügigen Terrassen und Flachdach, welcher im Jahre 2006 errichtet wurde. Das Projekt sieht nun vor, den traditionellen Teil an den modernen anzupassen.
Das neu errichtete Flachdach lässt die ursprünglichen Dachschrägen wegfallen und wertet die Zimmer im Dachgeschoss deutlich auf.
Um das Erscheinungsbild des gesamten Gebäudes anzugleichen und allen Zimmern einen Balkon zur Verfügung zu stellen, werden diese erweitert und mit Glasgeländern und auf der Südseite mit einem Sonnenschutz aus Holzpaneelen ausgestattet.
Außerdem werden auf dem neuen Flachdach zwei exklusive Suiten errichtet, von wo aus man den Panoramablick über das untere Vinschgau genießen kann.
Insgesamt werden die zwei Gebäudeteile durch ein Eingriff gekonnt zu einem stimmigen Ganzen vereint.

Armonia a sbalzo
L'Hotel Burgund si trova a Parcines e si compone di un edificio principale in stile tradizionale con un tetto a capanna e un edificio moderno con ampie terrazze e tetto piano, che è stato costruito nel 2006. Il progetto prevede ora di adeguare la parte tradizionale a quella moderna.
Costruendo un tetto piatto al posto di quello a capanna, aumenta lo spazio nelle camere mansardate e le valorizza.
Inoltre vengono costruite due suite esclusive sul tetto piano, da dove si ha una bellissima vista panoramica sulla valle venosta.
Per armonizzare l’aspetto dell’edificio vengono estesi i balconi dell’edificio costruito nel 2006, dando anche nell’edificio vecchio un balcone per ogni stanza.
Attraverso questo intervento strutturale i due edifici verranno uniti in un unico insieme.
