Office Loft | OMAR HARB

The project is located in a new SOHO type area at Mar Michael in front of the Skyline Tower and next the under construction Liv Loft and both are made by DW5/Bernard Khoury Architect. This building was requested by the client in order to show a major part of his work type such: (Steel Structure, Automation Product, etc…), in order to be a trendy office building and integrate an urban neighborhood which includes Residential, Small Industrial Spaces & Restaurants.

Everything used was either made especially in-house or found and restored. The desks, tables and cube dividers are fabricated from scratch. The entry wall was handcrafted from individual pieces of lath, and the meeting room doors were crafted to replicate old warehouse windows. The build-out was completed in November of 2011.

We wanted our space to be a confortable and relaxing environment for our team and for clients, with a (very) well-used material. Alternatives to sitting at a desk all day include a cozy loft with trees, open space, skylight, standing work stations, and multi-use meeting rooms.

The overall philosophy to the workspace is simple: inviting, fun and functional. No one has their own office-it’s designed to facilitate a very collaborative environment and increase communication, which helps with workflow as well as keeps the whole office vibe positive and strong.
