In planning the villa, the main design concept was designing a modern town house with a mix of textures and design motives.

The house's southern elevation is in front of a public garden. Thus the open views from the site are long and exceed the neighboring borders.

The program was planned for a family with three children with a large master suite.

On the ground floor, an open plan provides public spaces such as: a kitchen, a dining area, a library, and an open living room around the garden area.

By planning the bedrooms in the upper levels of the house, the ground floor becomes a transitional space between the entertaining and the private spaces.

The plan integrates entertaining spaces in the design of the living and dining rooms, game and cinema rooms and an open garden.

On the ground level, cultivated fauna acts as a backdrop toward the existing public garden at the southern side of the plot, and on a lower level, a private courtyard garden is situated next to the entertainment area.    

In designing of the exterior elevations, a classic proportion was used determine the openings, thus capturing the public gardens' landscape scenery in every aperture.

On the ground level, various textures were used, such as fabric, reflective finish of the wooden library, exposed concrete, metal mesh staircase and transparent glass elevations toward the south and west gardens.

The glass elevations on the ground floor are used as dynamic partitions, while the windows in the upper level allow filtered sunlight into the bedrooms and the master suite.

The house was planned while searching for an architectural language, both using local references with the combination contemporary Mediterranean elements.

The main design concept was an interaction between different design textures.

These textures, such as exposed concrete and wood, reflective wood veneer and soft fabrics create a warm living space to entertain and live.
