Un fienile rinato | aarchitects

Il tema classico del grande fienile con stalla al pianterreno e corpo aggiunto, normalmente per il deposito del fogliame, sul prolungamento della falda. 

Tutti uguali e tutti diversi, piccole macchine per la trasformazione dei raccolti, fieno e foglie, in latte e letame. Uno in ogni luogo dove la dimensione del fondo ne giustifichi la presenza, fieno a km.0, si direbbe oggi, in quanto erano le mucche a venire a consumare il fieno in loco e non lo stesso a venire trasportato.

Anche qui il cambio di destinazione d’uso propone temi in parte consueti ed in parte nuovi. 
Dal lato del paese si sceglie di mantenere fede alla vecchia facciata, nascondendo dietro ai graticci in legno le nuove finestre. Verso la campagna è la suggestione di una vecchia legnaia che stava appoggiata al fabbricato principale che ispira la creazione di un nuovo volume contenente una loggia e la scala d’ingresso. Anche l’utilizzo dei materiali è modulato sul medesimo concetto, da un lato il recupero delle malte originali e dall’altro l’uso del calcestruzzo bocciardato; il tutto unificato dalle grandi strutture in larice e coperto con le nuove-vecchie tegole piane.

The classical theme of the big barn with stables on the ground floor and an added body,  normally for the deposit of foliage, on the extension of the roof. All the same and all  different, small machines for the processing of crops, hay and leaves, milk and manure.

One in every place where the fund size justifies its presence, hay km.0, we would say  today, as were the cows to come and eat hay in the same spot and not the hay to be  transported.

Here too, the change of use proposes themes partly usual and partly new. On the side of the village we have choosen to keep the design of the old facade, hiding  behind wooden lattices the new windows. Towards the campaign the inspiration comes  from an old shed that was leaning against the main building; the new volume containes a  loggia and the entrance stairway. Even the use of the materials is modulated on the same  concept, on the one hand the recovery of the original mortars and on the other the use of  bushhammered concrete; alltogether unified by massive larch and covered with new-old  flat tiles.
