It is a historic building of the late ‘800, the old house of pleasure called “The Meter Cube”, assiduously frequented by James Joyce.
Historic district of Trieste, in the center, close to the beautiful Piazza Unità d’Italy. Very quaint narrow streets and convoluted, with many restaurants and bars.
Accommodation in the central pedestrian area of Trieste in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Unità d’Italy, Cavana Square and the waterfront.
The project involved the restoration of the Two-room flat, 35 meter squares, a fifth floor apartment with two double beds, to accommodate up to four people. It is therefore necessary to exploit every centimeter housing.
Flat on more levels, renovated in modern style, ceilings with exposed beams, wooden floor and antique entrance hallway.
It is divided into two areas, the kitchen area and the living room / bedroom area.
The kitchen is fully equipped; the attic has a window and is equipped with standard bed “futon”.
The kitchen table is folding with 4 seats; this is also another table near the kitchen block which is pivotable.
Sleeping area / relaxation area with convertible double bed, wardrobe and TV. In this zone, the attic is exploited in full, by creating drawers.
At the third level there is a small bathroom with shower.
