According to the Serge Latouche concept, sociologist of
the re-use theory, the CNH Industrial headquarter in Turin
has been realized in an old productive building.
The fascination of these buildings is something that is
amazing still today.
The functional adaption, with some compromises, is
successful for all the new requirements, designers have
to turn their attention on this direction to take decision
more logics and consistent with the existing system.
The wide hall is dedicated to the Brands' heritage, while
the large corridor that brings to the stairs of the several
lofts, with a metal structure and glass coverage, is
furnished with green walls referring to the nature and
useful to hide the parking behind; there are finally some
wide product images and monitors next to the seating
designed according to the floor motif.
The conference and the board room are decorated with
visible system and wood covering referring to the industrial
spirit and to the natural world.
