Proposal Idea.

First design guideline took life while designing a proposal idea for the renovation plan of a factory (manufacturing furniture for kitchen) located in Rome, in a degraded suburb of the east-south periphery.

The Master Plan Idea provided a process for the renovation of the entire industrial site, involving both indoors and outdoors.

Green Urban Regeneration aims the proposal and its core is to strive on filling with contemporary art the entire desolate district.

First point. Abandonated industrial areas has to be covered with a touch of bio-artistic glamour:

"... We use natural materials and our renovation is complemented by vegetal walls, as well by vegetative roof gardens. Boths elements operate to regenerate a new platform open to the public, in the indeed to convert lonely abandonated areas in nice places where humans can taste fresh food and discover street art. Walls and areas are also surrounded by vegetal artworks, placed into horti-cultural terraces and gardens..."

In our meaning, the architectural project supports its artistic cultural program and provides venues for expositions, as well residencies for international artists.

The idea has been issued by a business purpose which goal is to expand the company production, worldwide. On the direction, the business plan finds in the corporate art foundation an ideal partner.  Furthermore, the artist's residences conjugates style and contemporary design.

Stefania Brugnaletti Riccardi has established the design idea as a result of various journeys spent in Europe. In particular, inspired by the renovations and transforamtion of factories and industrial site transformed into private art foudations.

Therefore, covering different cultures and reflecting European influences, undertaken by travelling between Italy, France, Germany and Russia.

Also - consequence of this creative process - the factory filled with art plays an important role for professional activities placed between different assessments of culture, and promotes Italian design creativity abroad (bio-architecture, art, design, food and fashion).

Exploiting the fields of Urban Art and involving projects for sustainable solutions, this is just one of a continuing series which can be launched to improve new economic policies.
