Nella progettazione di questo appartamento di 90 mq situato a Roma, sono state

determinanti le esigenze dei proprietari che prediligevano lo sviluppo di una pianta

aperta e allo stesso tempo scandita da spazi riservati e intimi, nonché la richiesta

dell’utilizzo di un colore intenso come il blu. L’open space così ottenuto risulta

dinamico e ruota attorno ad un prisma di vetro satinato che racchiude al suo interno

il guardaroba, definendo, tagliando, illuminando e sfaccettando lo spazio

circostante. La zona living e la zona pranzo sono parzialmente divise da un blocco

centrale progettato per essere parete attrezzata da un lato e credenza dall’altro: la

particolarità è resa dalle facce interne del blocco evidenziate in blu mentre

piastrelle dalle geometrie arabeggianti disegnano gli spazi tra le mensole,

regalando un tocco decò. Nella camera padronale nuvole di carta leggera si librano

sul letto mentre una vetrata a tutt’altezza, che affaccia sulla doccia del bagno,

lascia presagire nella fruizione dell’ambiente giochi di esplorazione sensoriale. I

bagni equilibrano, con la loro essenzialità formale, i toni decisi presenti nel resto

dell’appartamento: il bianco puro delle pareti si alterna a listoni di gres effetto legno

che scaldano ed impreziosiscono dettagli fondamentali.

In designing this 90 sqm apartment located in Rome, the owners’ needs were

decisive and favored the development of an open plan marked by reserved and

intimate spaces, as well as the use request of a deep color such as blue. The open

space thus obtained is dynamic and revolves around a frosted glass prism that

contains within it the wardrobe, defining, cutting and lighting the surrounding space.

The living area and the dining area are partially separated by a central block

designed to be an equipped wall on one side and a sideboard on the other one: the

particularity is given by the inner faces of the block, highlighted in blue, while tiles of

arabesque geometries draw the spaces between the shelves, giving a decò flair. In

the master bedroom, clouds of light paper float on the bed while a glazing at full

height, that look on the bathroom shower, portends in the enjoyment of the space,

games of sensory exploration. The bathrooms give balance, with their formal

simplicity, to the strong tones of the rest of the apartment: the pure white walls are

alternated with planks of stoneware in wood effect that warms and embellish basic

details.
