Dakar is becoming a relevant city for West Africa and this development aims the building idea without forget the cultural, social and historical features of the context. The project create an iconic shape that works in different scales of connection. In the ground with the re-asset of public space and connection between the natural beach and the city, while growing up turns his body to create an ideal connection with the Goree island, the sea and the profile of Dakar.

The building design is generated by a reflection about the local community and weather condition. The high temperature is diminished by an offset of each floor  that creates  a protection by the sun and generate a new link between interior and exterior, unexpected in a high-rise building. The problem of the surface that the tower oppose to the wind is solved by turned each floor to create an aerodynamic shape and make a fluent silhouette oriented to the main points of the city.

The building will be built with a soul of concrete and a steel frame skin that allow to realize the idea of a turning shape.

The offset of the curtain-wall give the opportunity to work with the glass without spend a lot of energy for the air conditioning:  each floor has a complete view of the exterior.

The building, himself, has technologies for make all the process of mechanical engineering easily in a country where it's difficult to reach an high target.

The challenge of the project is how to integrate different functions with different dimensions in a unique an unconventional  high-rise building like the tradition of modern architecture; a vertical city;

"Tu me fais tourner la tete" is the result of the mix among the functions, aesthetics, contextual, structural and mechanical needs .
