How to provide each kid their own individual bedroom in such a small space?
That was the mission of the intervention.
The single room where the clients’ children would sleep was not suitable anymore to host them due to the differences in their age and needs, so the decision to use wooden elements screwed together to divide the space in three small compartments, one for each kid, equipped with a bed, a side table and a closet. Polycarbonate sliding panels would work as mobile partitions, letting the light pass through the three areas but providing each son their own privacy.
The structure, ideally passing through the walls turns into a bookshelf in the living room.
