The architecture is characterized by a rational composition made by regular volumes, that well express the connection between interior functions and exterior spaces. The building does not represent a break point in the context, on the contrary, it fits the site in a natural way and fills the void left after the demolition of the pre-existing industrial building. Exterior spaces have a great importance in the project. They are divided into thematic areas in which children can practise different educational and recreational skills: the playing space for the nursery, the adjoining equipped areas intended as extension of kindergarten rooms, the meadow for free activities, the garden specifically used as a point of observation of natural events.
