Concept Compact KITCH’ T® - Preview @imm Cologne 2016

Why compact kitchen design?

We are interior designers and we work on kitchen design and construction for a lot of our projects. We routinely use Corian® DuPont™ for the worktops. Since it was whilst designing a kitchen for an interior project that we came up with the idea for the original Table T®, also made out of Corian® DuPont™, we wanted to introduce our clients to a design especially made for the kitchen and a concept suited for modern young people.

dsignedby is a company run by young people, always ready for movement & action – new ideas, new materials, new technologies. Not only big families need big kitchens, which is why the concept of the compact KITCH’ T® is a practical solution for all people.

An all-in-one piece, the KITCH’ T® is easy to move from apartment to apartment, and is easily adaptable according to your needs. As everything is fitted beneath the worktop, it eliminates the need for upper cabinet space.

It started with the Table T®, which has made the smooth transition into a KITCH’. 

The size of the kitchen is made according to the width of the Table T® size L / 92cm, and the length of one Corian® DuPont™ board/ 365cm. All the hardware used are Hafele, while the appliances are Bosch. We tried to meet the price/quality standards and make it affordable for a young professional. We also used solid oiled Red Oak wood for the cabinet door fronts and Waterfront faucet to meet the industrial design, and match the roughness of the metallic holding structure.
