Chalet Maj | Angelique Buisson
France / 2014
The chalet Maj was built in larch, in the purest tradition by Chalets Bayrou.
The luxury of this naturally warm chalet, has nothing ostentatious.
Angélique Buisson chose to play with noble materials, such as Austrian wools, stone and wood.
Result : a real harmony as an echo to nature.
A contemporary furniture and some famous design pieces were enough to anchor the chalet in its time.
Elegant contrasts : such as the kitchen in Stainless steel ( Bulthaup) meeting ancient wood.
The smooth and shiny aspect of this contemporary kitchen highlights the rustic character and the soft golden nuance of the larch.
