17th Avenue | Heidi Caillier Design
San Francisco / United States / 2014
The 17th Avenue project was a clean slate when we got the project. We knew the budget was limited and we had some obstacles to work with - carpet in the bedroom, builder finishes, etc. We wanted the space to feel young and fresh but also collected and eclectic to reflect the home owner. We kept the backdrop neutral with bright white walls as the home is in a notoriously foggy neighborhood in San Francisco. We brought in pops of color in pieces like rugs, pillows and accessories. The client enjoys world travel and we really wanted the design to reflect that. The space feels seamless and the open floor plan works great for the entertaining the home owner enjoys doing. The bedroom furniture is all custom by Heidi Caillier Design.
