Minimalistic white kitchen in Hamburg, Germany. What makes this kitchen special is not only the use of innovative materials like the solid surface HI-MACS, but particularly the perfect combination of design and functionality. The oven door, for instance, opens at the exact height of the heat-resisting countertop. So you can easily slide heavy pans onto the counter instead of having to lift them. The three induction stoves can cook, fry and grill. The electricity for the kitchen island comes from a lowerable power outlet strip. To avoid empty spaces a warm light source was installed above the kitchen furnishing. The black glass in the sink is not only a nice contrast but also prevents stains. The kitchen island is not only functional but also a striking focus point within the kitchen and the adjacent dining area. In combination with the smoked and oiled hardwood oak floor, the white kitchen has a very clean yet warm atmosphere to it.
