A Place Where Everyone Matters is a space where colleages interact in informal manners.

The communal areas of office is treated like a garden: warm and natural materials define communal gathering areas,  hedges planters filter views across the different sections and natural light from the windows bath the main working areas while closed executive offices are pushed in toward the center.

2 | Pockets, not Walls

Pockets are areas defined without walls.

A long community belt in the canteen snakes around the space to define different activity pockets without compartmentalizing the large, generous space. The curving shape guides circulation in a simple and intuitive manner and avoids the need for signage.

The community belt is activated with social infrastructure such as seating, shelving and counter spaces. This defines a gradient of human interactions: energetic and sociable toward the belt, quiet and calm toward the perimeter.

3 | Object-oriented Spaces

Object-oriented spaces focus on contrasting relationships between shape and materials to create space.

The canteen and the office combine different functions into large shapes that define the spaces between them and the perimeter. Soft, rounded shapes are used to create a more human and approachable experience for an otherwise industrial building.
