Asmara Theatre - Eritrea | Anna Godio

The restoration plan of the Asmara Theatre is composed of two main sections; the first one analyses the status of deterioration while the second one designs the restoration and the requalification of the building functionality.
Analysis of the present situation of the theatre:
- careful quantity surveying to define the present geometrical status of the Theatre
- analysis of the present conditions of all architectural elements
- search for the historical data about the Theatre
Restoration design:
- philological restoration project in order to restore the Asmara Theatre to its original features
- drawings with the new internal lay-out in order to define the settings of all furnishings and services
- recommendations for the renewal plan of the Theatre compound
- description of the restoration works required for the renewal plan of the whole complex
- technical specification for the categories of work, quantity surveying and cost estimate.
