Designer Alexander Novichkov:   "8 pyramids"

The theme of space in design appears and disappears, but never gets obsolete. One can create an interior in the style of a spaceship, taking the idea of the favorite space saga, or highlight individual key points in the space.

The table "8 pyramids" looks like a space object. It is completely symmetrical and has no top or bottom. This is a conceptually new design in the style of constructivism.

Designer Alexander Novichkov developed the foundation for a table, solving a difficult task of joining nine geometric figures - eight pyramids and a cube. Designer’s surprising finding was the transformation of a cube into a ball. A ball is formed by rings which are precisely joined by the edges of the pyramids. The result is a bearing unit, similar to the eight-pointed star. This design became the basis for the irraciodesign company's range of tables. The simplicity of design and its manufacturability as well as its high load-bearing characteristics offer a great scope of using the module in various spheres of human activity - from the furniture to the creation of designs of truly cosmic proportions!

Beauty and conciseness of mathematically calibrated lines, shine of polished metal parts and the harmony of the spatial structure of the object really fascinate. But the concept of irraciodesign tables is not only a space of beauty and technology, but it’s also minimization of the amount of material, energy and logistics costs. The goal to improve the ergonomics has been achieved: the construction of the table frees enough space for the legs of a person sitting at it. The table is assembled as a set. Tables of all sizes and shapes are possible to be created from combinations of supports: long, with a large radius of the circle, in the form of waves, etc. They can be used for home and office.
