Cohousing is a new "lifestyle" contemporary architecture is developing in any city in the world.

The private area of ​​each apartment has decreased by about 25% in favor of a series more community spaces and related service available to all residents in sharing.

Urbanistically the project aims to enhance and promote the area adjacent to the station in Mendrisio, take charge of the entire area. The idea of a new static tipping, thinking it similar to that of a bridge, allowing the construction of residential floors in a high position.

The building rises from underground "turning" on himself and opening up on the two  axial directions.

A empty space down it is designed as new public park, in which the building stands.

Inside the building is characterized by two beams 70m-long wall, reinforced concrete beams, which range in their vertical and contain the destruction of the apartments.

Entrance is the Community level :they differ in this plan 6 large areas with different functions and activities, such as music room, a study room, a large kitchen, a relaxation area and the large entrance hall that also has a reception area and rooms for guests.

The upper level of the Community plan consists of a series of rooms for smaller meetings and work groups, such as classrooms and multipurpose rooms including a fitness room and painting studio, which overlook the park and are easily accessible even to an external audience.

The residential floors are raised with respect to the park, lying between the crowns of the trees and enjoying open view in any directions.
