Veeno Nottingham is a new Italian winecafé in the hearth of Nottingham. Here people can enjoy their time in a proper Italian way. It is an authentic Italian wine bar, like the ones you can find in Rome or in Milan. Far from the stereotype of Italian restaurant of 60s. Italian tradition is not only “pizza and spaghetti”: if you go to Italy the most traditional way to enjoy an evening out with your friends became the happy hour: the famous “aperitivo”. With this word, we mean having a glass of wine or a cocktail (usually an aperol spritz) paired with some “spuntini”, platters of cheeses or cured meats. Veeno is a place where you can go during lunch time with your colleagues, afterwork with your friends, or Sunday with your family. You can grab a focaccia to take away, you can stand for a chat or seat to relax with your girlfriend. There are different areas and seating, my favourite one is a corner with sofa made like pallets. The outodoor patio is a cool space that can be hired also for private events: with a proper system of heating, you definitively feel like in Italy.
