The South oriented V shaped plan is designed to profit all along the day of the sun illumination. Uses of internal spaces follow the natural rhythm of the sun progression. Bedrooms are illuminated with the morning light and the living room receives the light of the setting sun. The first floor is articulated of two separated zones, one for the parents and the other for the children. The positioning of the living room, through the garden, is elaborated to avoid the shade of neighbor’s constructions and to increase the solar contribution.

The uses of prefabricate massive wood panels have enhanced the timing construction. The wooden structure was entirely built in only seven days. The house is covered with a skin of grey bricks to obtain a heavy sculptural rock that recall the traditionnal stone walls of the town.

This passive house is provided of an automated installation for energy management. It is possible to control and to optimize parameter such intensity of inside natural light through automated adjustable windows flaps and interacting with temperature or speed ventilation flux.

The project try to give an answer to the complexe housing evolution with an ecologic approach. Modernity and tradition, by the uses of ecologic and genuine materials mixed with high technology devices, are closely dependent and able to provoque a contrasted dialogue.
