The project prioritized the restoration and preservation of original elements of this typical carioca building of the early 20th century. Stairs and window frames were maintained and retrieved. It was necessary to recover the roof and floor. Objects and contemporary furnishings promote an atmosphere of contrasts between old and new. Some walls were removed to expand internal spaces.
