Les Jardins de Sainte-Maxime » hotel has a new look and unveils its new design: bright and soothing living spaces, imagined and realised by the Parisian interior design company Laure Girodroux & Associés.

Located on the French Riviera, close to Saint-Tropez, the vast complex hotel « Les Jardins de Sainte-Maxime », owned Vacanciel Group, a key player of leisure hospitality, offers since this summer, some interiors (reception, bar, restaurant) completely renovated, new features and a new atmosphere.

To design and implement this important project, the Vacanciel Group appealed to the interior designer Laure Girodroux, which recently signed the new tasting showroom of Thiénot’s Champagne House, in Paris.

Upon entering the lobby, flooded with light from an atrium of three floors, we measure the importance of natural lighting in the architectural approach of the project. This Mediterranean sweetness, the architect has made it like a breadcrumb trail that guides the host from the reception to the second dining room, through living spaces treated in blue, grey and beige colors with shades changing every hour of the day. The general vibes, clear, warm and relaxing, in harmony with the exterior landscape of pines, gives the feeling of being outside of time in a protected patio.

Asian-inspired openwork panels, made of solid oak slats assembled by brush brass struts, come segmenting the space to create filters between public and private areas in the lobby. In the bar, same decorative vertical elements draw shadow and light shapes and form more intimate alcoves where we are invited to take our time in very Scandinavian wraparound seating from Hay Edition.

A fun, stylized and colourful bench, in the bar area; a huge wallpaper frieze, with brightly coloured graphism which was specially conceived for the occasion, in restaurant areas; plunge us into the beautiful California 50s age.

The presence of the curve from the false ceiling with large backlit random clouds contrast with wood and corian furniture designed for the hotel. Their strict lines give back tension to create a dynamic and coherent architectural ensemble.

"The renovation programme, developed jointly with the hotel’s management and my agency, was to give to this hotel a new look without altering its strong personality of holiday resort, where clients research comfort, service and serenity " reminds Laure Girodroux.

The reception area equipped with small rounded desks and an interactive tourism corner in oak wood and Corian, immediately reflects the hotel’s will to make accessible and intuitive the services it offers and friendly relations between the team and its customers.

Side restaurant, large wall alcoves whith oak frames on white background, shape elegant and sober buffet areas, clear accesses for a better service’s flow and allow many configurations of space.
