The problem to create a garden in front of the main house property, was the slope that we found. Impossible to live and enjoy the garden with that shape! The idea was to use the swimming pool geometry to create two level: a flat ground to sunbathe and a pedestrian street that connects the house to the main street. So the swimming pool is as long as the slope formed the outside space and wide enough to allow to swim. We used a special recipe of concrete to avoid to use plastic cover, tiles, stones, creating a contemporary monolith that could bear the villa's monumentality. The water color is natural as the aspect of concrete, and it appears like a part of Como lake where the house is faced.
