Etoile d'argent (Silver Star) | jérôme Rey

In the early XX century it was a special house supposed to show what the developper of an housing development could do. Throw the years it became an hotel in the 50's and blighted its architecture. Then in the 80's it was abandonned and it kept forgotten untill the city council (which had inherited it) decided to organise a contest to which we participated. Contrary to the other candidates who had chosen to destroy the building, we wanted to grant it a new glory by rebuilding its old facade. This way we won the contest and it's a pleasure to show you not only what we did but also what it was before us. Enjoy. (Photos by Arthur Pequin)
