[ENG] - Our clients decided to follow their instinct and ventured to create a 30m2 property that was abandoned and did not have much to offer located on the corner of Casanova street and Gran Via. Taking advantage of the location on the border of the Sant Antoni district, the new Brooklyn in Barcelona, we converted the shop into a “Vermutería” with a very contemporary touch but forgetting mainstream fashion and an overloaded style. We had a fairly low budget so we wanted to use basic materials and create a space that will live through time. Polished concrete floor, beech wood furniture that was designed by the studio, granite used over the years, MDF and very yellow light with “linestra wall lamps” in the walls and lamps from Santa & Cole to create the warmth required.

[ES] - Nuestros clientes se aventuraron y se quedaron un local de 30m2 abandonado y sin gracia situado en la esquina de la calle Casanova con Gran Vía de Barcelona. Aprovechando que
está situado en la frontera del barrio de Sant Antoni, el nuevo Brooklyn de Barcelona, lo hemos convertido en una Vermutería que respira un ambiente muy actual pero olvidándonos de las modas y del estilo muy recargado. Teníamos un presupuesto bastante Low Cost así que hemos querido utilizar materiales básicos y que no pasan de moda. Hormigón pulido en el suelo, mobiliario de madera de haya diseñado en el estudio, encimera de granito de toda la vida, DM barnizado y luz muy amarilla con apliques linestra en las paredes y lámparas de Santa&Cole para darle la calidez que necesitaba.
