Mini Flat Parioli | LAD

This interior design work is located in a building that was once a social housing unit and is now fronting one of the most elegant streets in Rome. The “Ante Operam” situation of the flat was therefore inadeguate to the client's desires.
The main operation was to invert what was living space with the bedroom. During the renovation of the new living room, an old wooden roof was found on the top of the old ceiling: it was restored and painted in white.
The lamp is the famous “Arco” by Achille Castiglioni, the applique is the “Tolomeo” by Michele De Lucchi.

L’immobile che contiene questo piccolo loft è un edificio del 1923 situato all’inizio di viale Parioli, una delle strade più eleganti di Roma.

L’isolato è stato uno dei primi ad essere costruito sul viale e aveva una vocazione quasi esclusivamente popolare: per questa ragione la distribuzione “Ante Operam” non soddisfaceva il cliente.
L’operazione principale è stata quella di invertire la zona giorno con la zona notte: questo ha consentito alla sala di usufruire delle finestre più belle che affacciano sul viale.
Durante il cantiere è stato scoperto un tetto in legno al di sopra del vecchio controsoffitto: è stato restaurato e dipinto in bianco.
La piantana è la famosa “Arco” di Achille Castiglioni, la applique è la “Tolomeo” di Michele De Lucchi.
