Appartment renovation in Moschato, Athens, Greece | lab.arCH -laboratory of architecture

This proposal for a residence’s renovation was completed in June , 2015. It concerns a private house of a retired couple, who had as a desire to combine a sophisticated classic style with modern details. The house is characterized by extensive damages due to its age, its poor construction and the earthquakes that took place some some years ago. The proposal of lab.arCH, in cooperation with the civil engineer of our firm, involved both a structural engineering survey of the building in order to repair the existing faults and damages, as well as the architectural and decorative design of the whole residence.
