United States Department of Agriculture & Social Security Administration Tenant Improvements | STRATAap

The paragraphs below describe two adjacent spaces renovated on the 12th floor of the Robert T. Matsui U. S. Courthouse Building, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Social Security Administration (SSA). STRATA a|p teamed up with Abide International Federal Contractor, to successfully complete

the spaces.

The tenant improvements for the USDA offices included construction of new partition walls creating offices for the USDA

Inspector General, administration accessory spaces, secure evidence and fire arm storage rooms and a conference training room. New suspended ceilings with recessed direct/indirect energy efficient lighting fixtures and occupancy sensors, finishes (paint and flooring), HVAC with divided zone controls, electrical, and data upgrades were also required. STRATA a|p also participated in the coordination of system furniture and layout. Intrusion Detection and Panic Alarm System (IDS) upgrades were also completed to meet GSA design standards.

The tenant improvements for the SSA offices included the construction of new walls to define a new receiving/reception area, private offices, open office space for systems furniture, Multi-purpose Room, Video Conference/Training (IVT) Room, Data Communications Room (DCR), and storage rooms. New finishes including, carpet, paint, lighting and suspended ceiling system were encompassed in the scope of work. HVAC, electrical, and data upgrades were also required. Security upgrades were incorporated to meet GSA design standards. STRATA a|p provided a complete FF&E package for this project.
