Over the last few years STRATA  a|p has worked on the exterior cleaning and restoration of the building’s stone work, removal and replacement of roofs at four (4) porch decks, and the replacement of five (5) heat pumps and seven (7) thermostats.


 


The city took extra care during the exterior stone cleaning in order to preserve the building. High and low pressure washing was used with an eco-friendly solvent, re-grouting mortar joints and sealing masonry caps was also required.


 


The task of the removal and replacement of roofs at four (4) porch decks also included eight (8) new downspouts, overflow drains at each roof and miscellaneous flashing. Repair of any damaged substrate, blocking and supports were also necessary.


 


The removal and replacement of five (5) heat pumps and seven (7) thermostats portion of the project also included the re-insulation of exterior coolant piping. Existing fan coil units required cleaning, including condensation pans and drain lines. Repair and/or replacement of miscellaneous ducts was required.
