Building 2557 is a 1,200 SF addition and extension of the existing warehouse space with the finished roof and walls factory finished with profiled metal walls to match existing finishes. The exterior finishes and eave height were designed to match the existing finishes and to appear as an integral part of the existing building.
A new chain operated roll-up steel door was provided at the east end of the new addition. A new concrete vehicular ramp was also provided as well as a new concrete landing. An existing hollow metal personnel door and frame was relocated at the east end of the addition, similar to the existing location with all door hardware reused.
The interior of the new addition has insulated walls to match the existing building. Interior finishes of the addition are unfinished drywall fire taped to match the existing warehouse space. The warehouse addition was designed to meet all United States Air Force Codes.
