The project was for 1st time home owners and originally started as a Kitchen remodel and ended up being the entire main floor living area. We turned a very traditional and dark kitchen into something light, airy and modern. They were on a tight budget, so we refaced the cabinets (painting them white and getting new shaker style doors), removed some altogether and added walnut floating shelves. We also opted for modern cement looking ceramic tiles. For the rest of the house I assisted them with paint colors, lighting, window treatments artwork and accessories. The family at the time had one daughter and was expecting their second when we started the project—our goal was to finish everything before the 2nd girl arrived and we did it!
