Spatial solution for student accomodations
CNC Housing is a series of furnitures made to furnish ecologically, sustainably and economically small spaces as students rooms or small apartments.
Transport problems and the facility of installation (mounting/unmounting) worked for the development of furniture made of flat pieces easy to assemble thanks to a nick system. There is no glue, no screws, no nails, no tools needed. Concerning the rapidity, the simplicity and the costs of fabrication, the elements are cut thanks to a CNC machine.
In order to respect environmental standards, the chosen material is Valchromat (19 mm thickness) according to technical and aesthetical properties, and also the facility to renew it in case of deterioration. The color range allows to people to choose different combinations.
The available furnitures are : a desk (table top of 120 x 60 cm) provided with shelves, a bed structure for a thick and comfy mattress (90 x 190 cm) and a mobile table (60 x 60 cm) that can serve as a dining table or an additional surface for cooking or work.
