Altan is a project of objects made for balconies.
It is a multifunctionnal object mixing a planter, a table and a drying clothes rack. Two metal rails join those three elements together, ensuring stability and resistance, being inlaid in the wood of the planter.
The planter should stay as simple as possible and have normal functions : contain plants, flowers and allow the water to flow. The drying clothes rack as well should just allow to hang up laundry : this part is integrated to the table, but the material is changing. The elements of the table are in wood, but the bars for the clothes are in metal tubes. This double function element is foldable, a simple system with a metal shim under allows to fold and unfold it. The table can welcome two people.
To put clothes, we just need to remove the wooden crossed with the metal part.
