Altan is a project of objects made for balconies.
It is a seat around a deck chair, where we can relax, read, enjoy the sun. The chair is hanging on the guard rail thanks to a metal line, and the other material is oak. The chair has only two legs, and can fit to a large range of balconies. The rail is hidden behind the wood, so when we see the chair for the first time we can wonder how it is hanging. This chair is easy to store because it’s flat and can take place against a wall for example.The metal provides more resistance to the seat, and allows to the chair to not fall, and to move it when and where we want to.
