TECNO LIVELY TABLE | Migliore + Servetto Architects
Milan / Italy / 2015
The installation designed for Tecno by Ico Migliore an Mara Servetto, transforms the beautiful Piazza XXV Aprile into a urban living room.
Four long red seats define the piazza in front of the Caselli.
Continuous volumes for welcoming urban seats which slowly raise into exhibition spaces for the most iconic Tecno pieces.
The Caselli’s large windows presents metaphors of various food ritual moments .
Tecno’s tables mirror themselves into reflecting tops playfully invaded by colorful graphic tablecloths which bring the table objects into a bi-dimensional scale, just like large “blister packs” of components ready to be detached and used.
Within the rooms Migliore + Servetto present a sort of tale on Tecno’s table: dynamic scenes on food preparation , emotional images which run mapping the objects on the table animating them in their use.
