The extension of the courthouse of the city Feldbach lies in the courtyard on the backside oft he historical building.
The main courthouse and the former prison, which is reused for administration, get connected through a linking facade element,
that also runs across the extension. In this way the facade, with its three connecting beams, forms a strong visuell unity.
The variation of the grain size in the plastering oft he facede underlines this effect. Out of this theme a fluent transiton is developed.
