The project aims to transform the city's image and the use of public space, with pedestrian as the leading actor.

The project consists of three interventions that attack directly the main areas of the centre of the neighbourhood. The transformation of the Estrella Park into a new central area, by incorporating new quality pavements, vegetation, street furniture and lighting which will allow the area to be open to a new range of public uses.

The second intervention seeks to redesign the sports complex, upgrade its image and incorporate it into the urban fabric of the neighbourhood, breaking the isolation that characterizes this type of equipment. As a third intervention, the project focuses on all the streets surrounding the complex, which connect the university with the railway. The aim is to remove all architectural barriers, making them accessible, regain pedestrian space, and incorporate high quality lighting.
