The construction of the complex hosting apartments and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel 5* allows the creation of a multifunctional building in the heart of Moscow.

The great opportunity that comes for the building is the possibility to relate with the rich surrounding: from Kitai-Gorod Wall, to the complex of the Kremlin with the Red Square, till area along the Moscow River.

Piuarch proposes building that thanks to its architecture, distributions of volumes and various functions, transparent and interconnected from different points, becomes a Gate of interconnectedness between the park and the city.

The basic elements of the project are the composition of the volume according to the views of the city, the relationship with the park that gets inside the new building creating a vertical garden: Zelenie Vorota (Green Gate) is the synergic synthesis between the park and the city and the name by which we identify the new multifunctional complex.

Zelenie Vorota combines at the same volumetric body two different images, in harmony between each other. Mandarin Oriental Hotel 5*, overlooking the historical city, presents facades with a strongly urban approach and in harmony and respectfully to the surrounding buildings. The facade is characterized by a modular repeated element, that with its rhythm highlights the flexibility of the internal distribution and the views of the city.

The facade is created through a glass continuing wall, on which is superimposed a regular form of stone pilasters, the material is closely linked to the historical buildings in Moscow, while the façade recalls the strong rigor of the surrounding buildings.

The building overlooking Zaryadye Park hosts Suites apartments oriented towards the Kremlin and the Moscow river. The building is characterized by a rich volumetric composition, with large windows opening facing the park proved multiple views, from different angles thanks to the game of stacked volumes. The volume responds to the surroundings, each apartment offers spectacular views, the building is formed in relation and because of the context creating an ongoing dialogue with nature.
