Le Petit Hotel du Grand Large | Vudafieri Saverino Partners

In Bretagna un piccolo hotel con ristorante da una stella Michelin. Lo Studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners ha ristrutturato il ristorante alterandone il meno possibile le caratteristiche di bistrot di paese di modo che la semplicità e raffinatezza del luogo potessero rimanere.
Il teak delle boiserie, del bancone del bar e dei tavoli della sala proviene da due antichi schooner recuperati a Bali che hanno compiuto il loro ultimo viaggio dalla Cina alla costa bretone. Il pilastro centrale è rivestito con carte nautiche dei luoghi da cui la barca è partita e quelle del luogo in cui è arrivata. Alle pareti le fotografie scattate dallo chef Hervé Bourdon ai suo fornitori del vicino paese.

On the Breton coast Vudafieri - Saverino Partners has renovated the premises, altering as little as possible its characteristics as a local bistro, so that the simplicity and the refinement of the place could  remain. The panelling, the tables and the bar are made with a teak coming from two old schooners salvaged in Bali. The two boats have made their last trip from Bali to the Breton coast and the central pillar of the hall is covered with charts of these places. On the panelling the pictures taken by the chef Hervé Bourdon to the suppliers of the nearby village.
